Parenting Differences Between the US and China
What could be more than just a funny story, and reveal something important about the cultural differences, specific to parenting?
When the Editor of Insider’s Parenting vertical requested people’s experiences parenting in countries other than the US, I jumped at it. I rattled off about seven ideas off the tip of my tongue and was accepted, but turning those thoughts into an article proved a little more difficult than anticipated.
For one thing, what were the differences between the US and China versus simply parenting as an expat? Once I parsed that out, which ones could be more than just a funny story, and reveal something important about the cultural differences, specific to parenting?
