Shortly before we left Beijing, I was sick of clutter clearing and negotiating with our kids on what to keep so I wouldn’t turn into Andy’s Mom in Toy Story. I knew they hardly ever play with their Duplos, but they insisted on keeping both full to the brim bins in case they ever needed them.

So I took every ounce of organization I have in my body, caffeinated up, and went to town.

It still took months before they agreed to sell one bin, and only if they could split the money, but ever since that day I felt better just looking at those Duplo bins.
